REPORTING A PROBLEM WITH AN AUCTION -- A special email link at the bottom of this page is primarily for reporting an auction you think may be in violation of the User Agreement, such as being in the wrong category or containing purposefully misleading information, or involving illegal or fraudulent activity, or any other circumstance you consider could be detrimental to the members of ComicBidz. When reporting a problem auction always include the ITEM # of the auction, so we can investigate it quickly.

The special email link at the bottom of this page can also be used for a few other things:

1) Requests for your Account Information: ComicBidz will NEVER send you an email asking for your account information. If you receive an email asking you to give information about your account, DO NOT RESPOND to the email! Once you have confirmed your registration, if we need you to update your account, we will NOT put a link in an email and ask you to click on it. We would only ask you to go to ComicBidz.com on your own -- without clicking a link in an email -- and log-in as usual and go to My Account to make any necessary changes. Forward any suspicious email you receive that claims to be from ComicBidz to us using the link at the bottom of this page.

2) Auction Interference and Non-Auction Offers: If you receive an email offering to directly sell you the same item, or an item similar to one you have bid on (either currently or in the past), please let us know. This is not only a violation of the User Agreement, but it is very harmful to the auction process upon which both our buyers and sellers rely -- and upon which ComicBidz relies. Trying to "steal" bidders away from an auction, or to use ComicBidz to sell to our members items that have not been put up for auction with ComicBidz, cannot be tolerated and we need to know if someone makes you such an offer. Often such offers are purely fraudulent and are designed to get you to send money for something you will never receive. Even if such offers come from an established seller, it is still an attempt to sell to the ComicBidz membership without paying the normal auction fees, which damages ComicBidz financially.

3) Spam from Members: It is acceptable for a member to inform you about another ComicBidz auction, but only if they have a specific reason to believe you might be interested in a specific item and you are not currently bidding on such an item. But that does not mean ComicBidz allows members to spam each other with a lot of auction notices just on the random chance that someone might be interested in their auctions. If you feel you are receiving too many of these auction notices and have asked the seller to stop sending them and they continue, then please report it to us using the email link at the bottom of this page.

4) Transaction Disputes: The responsibility for completing a mutually-beneficial auction transaction is primarily the responsibility of the people involved. The User Agreement requires both parties to a transaction to use quick email responses, courtesy, patience and understanding when dealing with each other. If you have tried your best to resolve a problem you are having with an auction, either as a buyer or a seller, and feel there is nothing more you can do, then use the email link at the bottom of this page to inform us of all the details and we will investigate and try to help. It is important that you ask ComicBidz to get involved in a transaction dispute ONLY as a last resort. We do not take reports of transaction disputes lightly. If it is determined that you did not make a serious effort to resolve the dispute on your own before involving ComicBidz, you could jeopardize your membership status. But if you really need help and have tried your best, then let us know. Be sure to include the ITEM # of the auction and all the details of your efforts to resolve the dispute so we can investigate properly.
